This site is brought to you using a combination of trivial (simple) markup and style sheet technology. The files are served from a WS3 box running IIS-6.
There is a mix of plain text, server side scripting and data base work rumbling away backstage to produce the content. Implementation of these technologies will change from time to time as these pages are often a test bed for other sites.
This current incarnation needs a new logo - this site always needs a new logo. Please let me know if you have something suitable I can use - graphics not really being my thing.
This page (and the others on this site) are made with valid HTML and CSS. This means that these pages conform to published standards for markup and presentation. .
Every browser is different and new releases and updates to browsing software bring new levels of conformance to these standards. The main benefit (to the site owner/manager) of creating standards compliant pages is that you know they will present your information (and get your message across) no matter what browser your vistors use or how often it is upgraded.
