Many thanks to usenet poster VK for the heads-up in AWW & CIWAS.

[1] Only supported in IE - update: now seems to work in firefox
[2] CSS-3, now supported by some commonly used browsers - the notable exception is Opera. Note also: the W3 CSS validator chokes on CSS-3 syntax.
[3] CSS-3, work in Firefox ok
